PCB Summons Top White-Ball Performers to Lahore for 3-Day Camp

Lahore, June 2:
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has called up 22 top white-ball performers for a special training and assessment camp scheduled for June 3, 4, and 5 in Lahore.

Key Players Included:

  • Babar Azam

  • Mohammad Rizwan

  • Shaheen Shah Afridi

  • Saud Shakeel

  • Usman Khan

  • Naseem Shah

  • Abdullah Shafique

  • Among other promising young talents.

Camp Details:

  • Players will be divided into three different groups.

  • Each group will participate in short training sessions.

  • During the sessions:

    • PCB will assess players’ fitness and performance.

    • Players will be briefed on the future plans and roadmaps.

    • Head Coach Mike Hesson, along with other coaching staff, will meet the players individually.

Performance-Based Selection:

All players have been selected based on their outstanding performances in:

  • PSL Season 10

  • Domestic white-ball cricket

The camp is a vital step in forming a strong and dynamic white-ball squad for upcoming international tournaments, including the next World Cup. The PCB aims to align all top performers with the national team’s future direction and goals.
